The story of the Madras Trays borrows its inspiration from the myriad checked patterns seen on rich, traditional textiles of South India. Deconstructing these patterns to combine simplicity with functionality, strips of brass are inlaid in Teak wood to echo the aesthetics of the quintessential Madras checks of the South. Continuing our approach of using traditional craftsmanship we’ve created contemporary, luxurious pieces for everyday living.
